PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING SUGGESTIONS AND POINTS OF INFORMATION AS THEY WILL HELP YOU BEST SERVE YOUR COMMUNITY AND THOSE IN NEED.
1.WHO BENEFITS FROM THE FOOD BANK? Any Bridgewater resident who is in need.
2.WHAT KIND OF ITEMS SHOULD I DONATE ? All nonperishable items are needed. This includes food, cleaning supplies, personal products and paper goods.
3. ARE SOME ITEMS MORE IMPORTANT THAN OTHERS? The need varies week to week. Just be sure there is a current expiration date on the item.
4.WHERE IS THE FOOD BANK LOCATED? It is located at the Parish House of the Bridgewater Congregational Church. This is a service we provide to the town that allows participants to come and go in anonymity.
5. WHERE CAN I DROP OFF MY FOOD DONATION? There are 3 locations. The Library, Town Hall and Parish House of the church are all drop off points. Please note: if you drop your goods off at the church Food Bank, please leave your donation on the table. Do NOT try and stock the shelves. Items must be checked for “sell by” dates and recorded first. Our personnel will then handle the stocking of the items.
