The Building Department is responsible for the enforcement of the Connecticut Building and Fire Safety Codes by conducting inspections and processing permits. The purpose of the codes is to protect the public health, safety and welfare in all buildings and structures.

The Building Official is available in Bridgewater:
Monday and Wednesday 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM

Building inspections may be made by calling: (860) 868-7881 ext. 111

For all other business you must contact the Bridgewater Office during regular business hours:

Monday 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM
Wednesday 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM
